The team of Sugar Mess – Let’s Play Jolly Battle recently returned from GDC 2024, which took place in San Francisco, California from March 18 to 22. The game representatives successfully held the showcase and received invaluable feedback from players and professionals from the gaming industry.
The 2024 Game Developers Conference hosted nearly 30,000 registered attendees, featuring over 1,000 speakers across 730 sessions, workshops, roundtable discussions in addition to networking opportunities. Over 300 top game industry companies exhibited their latest innovations.
One of those was the VR game “Sugar Mess – Let’s Play Jolly Battle”. It received its impressive share of attention from the public.
Over the course of 3 days, about 100 players plunged into our VR adventure, appreciating the fabulous Sugar Mess universe, clear game controls and its dynamic gameplay.
In addition to positive feedback, we paid special attention to critical comments or non-intuitive aspects that were not clear to players. This user experience flows into our backlog, the main goal of which is to improve our game.
Among the visitors to our stand were representatives of leading VR platforms such as Meta, PS5, as well as publishers, journalists, influencers, and gaming enthusiasts.
We are grateful to GDC for the friendly welcome. Our team appreciates the opportunity to meet so many VR game lovers in person!
At the moment, the game is on Meta Quest and Pico, the Demo is also available on Steam
